Q.

My kid had fever from Sunday for 2 days and at 3rd day it started to get subsided and she was ok for approx 20 hours with normal temp and now temp around 99.6. and she had little loose stools ( not watery) 2 times in past 12 hours , already consulted doctor for the fever he said it will take 3 -4 days and what to do ,why reoccurring

A. yes any infection episode may last for 5 days depending on immunity of the baby In fever give pcm drops as prescribed by your doctor give tepid water sponging maintain hydration if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine

A. sometimes it's body mechanism to cope with cold weather. if fever goes above 100.4° f than u should be worried. as you are saying fever is on and off, do check for rise in temperature and proper hydration of your baby. let her sleep as much as she wants .
