Q.

my having is having loose stool from 3-4 days and has some blood stain too. he got very weak. we consulted the doctor but his stool has not improved yet though bleeding has stopped. he is doing running consistency stool 3-4 times during day time. do suggest something which I can do at home to improve it.

A. Namaste Mom, Is the baby in teething phase also ? as loose motion can also oocurs in such situation as well, How is his diet ? Make sure he is having fluids as its important to keep him hydrated as well. so coconut water, ORS, fruit juice, or juicy fruits are better also vegetables as well. Offer her soft foods so banana, melons, chikku, papaya. roti dipped in dal, kichidi, dalia, idli, upma , ragi porridge can be given

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It might be due to teething in the baby. Please give homeopathic medicine BC21 to the baby. Also massage baby gums with clean cotton cloth. Please give Econorm sachet to the baby. If you see any blood spots in the poop or if the poop color changes to black or white then it is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly.
