my gynac is advising me to have a c section delivery in the 37th week. is it safe for the baby or are there any side effects which could hamper the baby

See after 36 to 37 weeks of the child takes birth it is not a premature baby so there is nothing wrong with having a C-section delivery but my question to use going to be why is your Dr advising you that you need to 1st figure out and understand every thing before you go ahead we taking a decision of C section
