Q.

my daughteris near to 16 months, nowadays she is simply crying when seeing unfamiliar face, earlier she will cry only when they try to take her but nowadays she is simply crying by looking at unfamiliar faces, really getting tensed when seeing this type of attitude, sometimes she also not go with the house members also when I am near her, but earlier and all she used to love all house members, is it normal behaviour in toddlers.

A. stranger anxiety usually develops after 6 months of age when the child is able to recognise the parents as well as the near once. it is a normal part of development in which the child is able to identify the people who are nearbyx as well as wants to protect oneself from the people the child doesn't know. the stranger anxiety usually decreases with increasing age of the child andx you have to stay with the child to just make the child comfortable with strangers
