Q.

my daughter was having cough, cold and fever. we have admitted in hospital because the CRP was 85. She was given antibiotics and the fever was reduced and we have discharged from hospital.CRP reduced to 20. She was given medicine for cough and cold for the next 5 days and everything was fine. But after the medication was done. She got fever again and she is suffering from cough since morning. Can anyone give suggestion on this. Do i need to go to doctor for the tests again.?

A. You should visit your doctor for sure and for fever and cough currently I would recommend you to give paracetamol and for cough it would be good if you nebulise the child because I think the cough is still persistent as the congestion is there in the chest and throat of the child
