Q.

my daughter was born in 36 +1 week..dr had termed her as preterm and gave her aptamil preterm but with this formula milk she had some some gastric issues as aptamil is thick..so we switched to similac ...but now her weight gain process is lil bit slow....she is 4 mnths old now and her weight is 5 kg...so im confused to what to do...either switch to aptamil preterm again or go with similac ..any one plz suggest what to do?

A. similac is good too. better to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion

A. U See if your child has gained a minimum of 400 g every month that means your child has gained decent enough so need not worry about weight you can calculate it as per the birth weight of the child and secondly if the milk was a heavy then you reduce down the quantity of powder that you add to water like for 60 ML take 1 1/2 scoops rather than taking two that would have been a better idea
