my daughter's left kidney is not working. what can I do. is this normal

A. Children with a one kidney can lead a normal, healthy life. They do not need special diets if the kidney is working well. They should have regular well-child care as recommended by the Paediatrician including blood pressure measurement. Your doctor may want to screen your child for protein in the urine.
