my daughter one year old, she walks runs understand my words, she imitates my action... but still now she has not trying to tell single word... what should I do to open up.. whatever I do she does same, but she is not repeating sounds.. help me

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development assessment. requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor. Just interact regularly with child as for now

A. By 12 months, many children can say a few basic words -- like "more," "bye-bye" and the ever-popular "no" -- but if your child is developing typically in other areas and you still aren't hearing any words, this can still be normal. Some babies simply start talking earlier than others.
