Q.

My daughter is very active, she responds very well, she is expressive too, she is 4 years old and she can speak only words, and she is not speaking in sentences, please suggest me what can I do for this, thank you

A. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age. there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child. also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development. the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present. by 18 months if the child is noct following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech and development assessment. requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your cdoctor.

A. good morning I would recommend you to try to purchase pictorial story books for your child which contain one or two lines on each page to mix for the child is able to develop the habit of framing sentences
