Q.

my daughter is taking breath through mouth. no stuffy nose but I didn't know why she is doing this. is it serious issue.am worrying.because of this she is not sleeping properly.plz answer my question

A. Try to give steam inhalation at home

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases alohyng with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
