Q.

my daughter is of 6 months she is having fever around 100 i have given her paracetamol drops at night and again in morning she is having around 99 should i continue with the same medicine or any other medicine

A. the duration of action of paracetamol is for 4 hours to 6 hours so if the fever is coming again then you can repeat the paracetamol and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day

A. Hello dear parent! If the fever persists above 100 then continue with the medication. Give a light sponge bath to reduce the intensity of the fever. Better to consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Continue feeding your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration.
