Father of a 5 yr old girl2 years ago
Q.

My daughter is now 3 years and do not do potty in bathroom, she only does it when she is wearing diaper. We don’t make her wear diaper in day time and only during night time. But we have stopped giving her diaper completely and she has not passed potty since 36 hours. Is it okay for her to hold it like this, and do we need to give her diaper if she do not pass it even after 3 days.

A. Potty Training can be started after the age of 2 yrs.for this you need to develop a conditionhied reflex in the child by fixing a particular time regularly in which the child should be sitted over the potty seat .do not force the child instead make it a playful activity and not to make the child repulsive about it.slowdly the child will learn to indicate before the time.
