My daughter is flat footed. She is having trouble climbing stairs. What to do

A. Flat feet that don't cause problems usually need no treatment. Kids with flat feet should wear supportive, well-fitting shoes, but don't need shoe inserts. They can do all the things that other children do. Flat feet that cause pain or are linked to bone problems or tight tendons might need treatment.
