Q.

My daughter is eating chalk pieces,wall paints , and other rubbish things . We have given calcium syrup and even given 5 continuous injections of VITCOFOL. But her carvings are not controlling . We have tried to not to do such things in all possible ways. But when we are out of sight for any Daily chores she starts licking wall and makings paint remove . We are so worried about her how to control her . Please advice .

A. You should consult your doctor regarding this as how to proceed further. This condition is called Pica. It is due to nutritional deficiency. Proper diagnosis is required so that appropriate treatment can be started at the right time.
