My daughter is diagnosed with Hashimoto's Hypothyroid. When she was tested she was on cough medication, can they affect the thyroid results?

A. I don’t think so but still if you have a doubt about it let me let your child get over the issue of cough or congestion whatever is there then you repeat the test after 6 to 10 days of healing completely that will give you more appropriate results
