Q.

my daughter is 9 months old now..I forgot the vaccine influenza which is given in 6th and 7 months..what can I do..? #Vaccination

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different bflu infection which is very common every year . this vaccinue is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required . It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

A. hi catch-up Vaccination is possible so you can get it done now no problem please visit your pediatrician and get it done as per your doctor's suggestion
