my daughter is 9 month old she got cold with heavy coughing and sneezing and runny nose what to do plzz suggest some medicine

Arunima ChakranMom of a 1 yr 2 m old boy1 month agoA. Use nasal drops first then use the nasal aspirator for removing the cough from the nose of the baby....so that they can feed without any difficulties.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitufrssives medicine which should be given only after a proper evgaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
