Q.

My daughter is 6 months old.I preferred government vaccines and she was vaccinated according to the schedule. According to the private hospitals schedule,they are giving influenza vaccines after completion of 6months.This vaccines is not available based on government schedule.Is it required to give influenza vaccine to a child.

A. it's better to visit your doctor All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.
