Q.

my daughter is 53 days old...we feed her both breastmilk and formula milk...I want to ask can i feed her both milk at same time bcoz her tummy is not full after breastfeeding she starts crying and she can't wait for 2hr...my Dr had suggested to keep her 2 hrs gap between breastfeeding milk and formula milk... so plz tell me what to do

A. hi..ideally babies must be exclusively breast fed for the first six months as it is the best food for ur baby. Breast milk works on demand and supply, the more u nurse ur baby the more milk it will produce, so keep feeding frequently. Dates, nuts like almond, cashew, walnut, pista, coconut, a glass of milk with dry fruit powder, lentils or dal, a spoonful of methi daily, should be added in your diet to increase breastmilk supply. You may take Zandu Shatavari powder daily two times with milk .
