Q.
my daughter is 5 month 10 days old. and she had a chest congestion with cough. i took medicine from doctor and Dr gave antibiotics and percetamol. and after giving the medicine my dughter is passing watry stool till now. what should I do. she do in day 5 -6

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives mgtedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation bhy the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
