Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. For throat infections, paracetamol can be given for pain and fever up to four times daily. Offer warm water and home remedies like ginger honey. Warm dfluids like dal or soup are also helpful. A doctor will decide if antibiotics are needed, and staying in contact with them for additional medication advice is recommended.
