Q.

my daughter is 3 yrs old...she had got viral fever in December from 2 to 8 n than from 14 to 19.. n than in between just for 1 day....than in january she again got viral from 27 to 2nd Feb...today on 12 Feb again her body is little warm with temp 98...is this normal???

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold svxponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctodr consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. 98° is a very normal temperature please do not calculated as a temperature and do not give any medicine to the child there is no requirement for any medicine as I said until 99° is there it is normal temperatures in that case you don’t have to go for any medicine
