My daughter is 3 months 20 days old and she has taken IPV on 6 10 and 14 weeks however OPV was given only at the time of birth along with BCG and Hep , is it an area of concern (Or) can we take OPV now what should be the interval between three doses if we are giving OPV now

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination.
Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has regceived polio vaccine before as per the schedule thegn also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additionahl vaccine.
For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .
