Q.

my daughter is 2 months old, on 13th jan she has taken bcg vaccine, doctor told me to wait for a month before next vaccine. please tell me now which vaccine should be given to her next?only bcg vaccine is given. and how much gap should be maintained between her next vaccines?

A. At  6,10,14wks ur baby should have  DTP, HiB, Hep. B, and IPV  Plus  Pneumoccocal vaccine Plus  Rotavirus vaccine.  In DTP component if u go for whole cell ie DTwP  It may cause pain fever and sometime swelling at vaccination site (painful vaccination).  In DTP component if u go for accelular ie DTaP It doesn't cause pain fever and swelling at vaccination site(painless vaccination).   Both Vaccine ie whole cell or accelular are equally good and effective  r

A. but since her weight was less, her first vaccine bcg was delayed, now which vaccine should be taken? and how much gap should be maintained?
