Q.

My daughter is 2.5 months I have been mixed feeding her formula and breast . Wanted to know - There are some days where she has more formula and some days more breast milk in total during the day. Does quantity matter? Like if I give more formula compared to lesser breast milk ? Will she still be getting benefits of the breast milk ? Or does the excess of formula going in suppress it ?

A. it is always advisable for the baby to take mothers breastfeeding to the baby if mothers feeding is inadequate after giving breast milk every time you can give formula never formula in the beginning

A. hi well mother's milk is best food for a child. so please stick to breastfeeding only. there is no need of formula or external milk. the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. so offer plenty of feeds. ensure that your child should pass urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day. because a good urine output indicates that your child is getting enough milk.
