A. Opt for a fruit and food feeder - check Babyhug Fruit and Food Nibbler Easy Grip : it is made from BPA free, non toxic food grade material. It is protected with bite resistant silicone. It is easy to grip. Kids can chew and enjoy food with minimised risk of choking. It is FDA approved. Make healthy and tasty finger foods that your kid can easily chew on.

A. Do not lose your calm while trying to get your child to eat and chew food. Make mealtimes a fun activity. Pick appropriate food items - the kid should be able to chew whatever you feed him. Feed him when he is hungry - Offer food items that he needs to chew once he is hungry. Let the child eat on his own. Give him a bowl and a spoon and let him play with the food and make a mess. First he will play with the spoon and the food and slowly start to take a bite.
