Q.

My daughter is 16 weeks old. Her birth weight was 3.5kgs and now she is 4.7 kgs. She is also being supplemented with formula. May I know what could be the reason for slow weight gain.

A. Very difficult to say but with whatever you are mentioning I think the formula feeding that you are giving is also not boosting the weight of the child wear in formula supposed to be good for healthy weight gain because it meets the needs of the child so try shifting to another formula milk after consulting your paediatrician and also try and understand if there is any other reason for slow weight gain let me be a deficiency or something
