My daughter is 15 months old.She used to eat soil while Playing on the ground.Elders are saying she might have iron deficiency.Is that right..?How to identify iron deficiency in babies.I always includes ragi in her diet and giving zincovit to her

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. One form of treatment associates the pica behavior with negative consequences or punishment (mild aversion therapy). Then the person gets rewarded for eating normal foods. Medicines may help reduce the abnormal eating behavior if pica is part of a developmental disorder such as intellectual disability.
