My Daughter is 14 months old, weighsv8kg only and eats only 4 meals in a day...what do I do to feed her more so that her weight increases.

A. Dear mum, weight of 8 kg is a normal weight for 14 months old baby girl. You should give one additional snack to your baby in addition to the 4 meals that you are giving. For healthy weight gain and growth, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add powdered nuts like almonds to baby’s food. Add ghee to baby’s food. Continue to breastfeed.
