A. If your 11-month-old daughter is having frequent stools and this has been happening for a day or two, it could be due to a mild stomach upset, a viral infection, or a dietary change. Some common causes of frequent stooling in babies include teething, new foods, or even a sensitivity to certain foods. To manage the situation: Hydration is key: Ensure she stays hydrated by offering plenty of fluids, such as breast milk, formula, or water. Monitor for dehydration: Look for signs like a dry mouth, fewer wet diapers, or lethargy. Avoid introducing new foods: Stick to familiar foods that she can tolerate well. Use soothing methods: If she seems uncomfortable, gentle belly massages or warm baths can help. If the frequency of stools continues or if she develops any additional symptoms like fever, vomiting, or appears in distress, it’s important to contact your pediatrician to rule out any infections or other underlying issues.
