A. yes atleast 3 dose before 5 years age usually vitamin a deficiency can occur in children if the diet is not proper. in maintenance dosage it is usually given at the end of 9 months and then at the end of 15 months and then between 4 years to 5 years of age and usually given along with mmr vaccination. in between any extra dosage is required or not will be decided by the doctor. 6month repeat dose is given to malnourished children. minimum 3 dose till 5 years is also enough. for children below 2 years can give 50000 tab vitamin a after crushing x 2 tab. for children above 2 years can give 50000 tab vitamin a after crushing x 4 tab. usually give with mmr vaccination.

A. Hello dear parent! Supplements should be given to the baby only on doctor’s advice. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Serve your child with healthy foods in cute Babyhug bowls to encourage healthy eating
