My daughter is 1 year and 4 months old. I am on lactation. Can I take worms medicine and if so do I need to take gap for feed or I can immediately feed her. Thanks

A. Mebendazole is an effective drug widely used in the treatment of parasitic infections. Although theoretically considered as safe during lactation, no studies have evaluated its potential adverse effects in infants of breastfeeding mothers.
