Q.

my daughter have fever and cold from yesterday. I'm giving her flucold drops 0.8ml 3 times a day. does it treat fever also? her fever is not reducing

A. Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it can be allergic too. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl /ascoril flu cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it will be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.no self treatmebeont should be done.

A. Give calpol you can repeat it after every six hours this is the medicine you should be giving for fever and the previous medicine that you will have to give about 1.5 because after the age of 12 month the dosage of most of who is going to be 1.5 ML
