Q.

My daughter has got a few patches on her leg. We saw 1st patch on 3 days before and she got another 2 patches on her leg. We applied coconut oil on the affected area and frequently used moisture cream. Is this something to worry or any allergic to food? We are planning to take her to paediatrician. Photos attached. Kindly advice.

A. good morning it will be better to take the child to the doctor without the clinical examination it is very difficult to be able to say anything I would recommend that you should try to make a few drops of glycerine along with the coconut oil

Q. My son is now 4 months old. He got a few hypopigmented patches when he was 20 days old and they are still on his body. He has one on stomach and few on chest, one scaly patch on leg and another at the back of the another leg and few on feet. These patches are not developing and infact they are getting disappeared now. Consulted two dermatologist so far. one mentioned dryness another birthmark. The picture was taken a month back. The patches has got better now. What this could possibly be? can some one help me get this diagnosed?

Q. Hello, my son is 4 months old now and he has few hypopigmented patches on his body since when he was 20 days old. It is scattered on his chest and one circular patch on his stomach. he also has one large scaly patch on his leg and few small patches on his feet. They were fairly white but have not changed in colour and few portion has started repigmenting. one dermatologist diagnosed it as a birthmark and another said early vitiligo. We have seen changes in the patches now but no new patch has developed.
