A. Hello! Managing deficiencies in vitamin D, calcium and haemoglobin involves a combination of nutrient rich foods and lifestyle habits. For haemoglobin, focus on iron rich foods like green, leafy vegetables, beetroot, pomegranate, lentils, lean meats or eggs. For calcium and vitamin D3, it is milk, curd, Paneer, ragi, almonds. Why some foods like egg yolks and fatty fish have vitamin D sunlight is a best natural source. it is important to consult a paediatrician to determine if supplements are required.
