A. constipation in small babies is very common and is more with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child for good digestion and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need shto give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult doctor.give proper tummy time for about 15-20 mins and burping to avoid gastric trouble. In very small babies of 1 or 2 months of age it is very normal phone not to pass motion even for several days and on the contrary passing motion after every feed due to gastrocolic reflex is also considered as normal.

A. Yes Is absolutely normal sometimes kids can go without passing a motion for seven days also but in this case if your child is taking all the feelings properly and your child is having a good urine count about 10 to 15 times in a day no sign of discomfort and please do not worry about it
