Q.

My daughter had fever & cough cold…so yesterday evening i gave her Calpol 250mg & chericoff medicine..now from yesterday she is not having fever so shall I continue to give fever medicine or only cough & cold medicine shall I continue?

A. Hlo, My baby is 3y 8mth .He's height is 92 and weight is 11.3 please suggest me to improve his health.

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor ahgccording to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
