Q.

My daughter got vaccinated on 24 this December. She has some pain in the leg where she got vaccine. We have already applied the Ice pack and rubbed the leg . Pls suggest what can we do should we apply the Ice pack again .

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also a apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
