My daughter got slight injury in eye and water discharge and light redissh please suggest is it any major issue

A. Any injury to your child's eye should be considered a medical emergency, and immediate medical care is necessary. Often, a younger child with an eye injury may need to be examined in the operating room under general anesthesia.For minor eye injuries, treatment may include: Cold compresses: Icepacks reduce swelling and relieve pain. Eye flushing: Flush chemicals and other irritants with clean water for about 15 minutes. Eyedrops: Your provider may prescribe eyedrops to help your eye heal.
