my daughter and I are still struggling with our breastfeeding journey inspite of trying different positions. she is only able to shallow latch. through an online consultation with lactation consultant and pediatric dentist I came to know that my daughter might have lip tie and tongue tie which hinders breast feeding for many. does such ties really affect breast feeding ?

A. yes sometime it affects the breastfeeding but nothing can be said without a proper clinical examination so it is better to visit a dentist personally rather than a online consultation so that your doctor can check and let you know
