A. Dear mum, weight of 11 kg is a normal weight for 2.5 years old baby girl, do not worry. Baby's weight at this age should be in the range of 10 kg to 16.5 kg.As long as your baby's diet is adequate and balanced you don't have to worry about his weight.bulk up mashed potato by putting milk or cheese in it.put grated cheese on beans on toast.make milk puddings.make soups with milk instead of water.increasing their portion sizes at mealtimes, especially for starchy foods such as bread, rice, pasta and potatoes. Alternatively, if your child finds it hard to eat larger portions, try increasing the energy density of your child's meals, until they have reached a healthy weight.Your baby seems underweight as ideal weight for 2 year old is 12kgs, give her some weight gain foods like potato, cheese , banana and avocados. During this second year of life, growth slows down. Your toddler may gain about 5 pounds (2.27 kg) and grow about 4 or 5 inches (10 to 12 cm).
