Q.

my child is healthy but his body doesn't look like healthier he is thin... so what should I do to make his body little bit heavy

A. You can also offer plain nuts like walnuts, almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts and raisins. You can give peanut butter or almond butter. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give lentils like urad dal and moong Dal. Give one boiled egg per day. Give cheesy potatoes and sweet potatoes.

A. If the child is active and is eating well and is meeting all the required milestones, there is no need to worry about his or her weight. You can try giving whole cow's milk and milk products like ghee in small amounts can be added to his or her meals, curd, butter, cheese and home made paneer. Try offering fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them.
