Q.

My child is having fever firstly I had cold & fever now she catched it from me. also due to temperature variation going in & out of AC might have caused fever. We live in Mohali so I hope it's not CHANDIPURA virus??? also what shall I do to relieve & lower her fever?

A. firstly you have to confirm whether there is this virus present in your locality then only it will spread. also in chandipura it shows mainly severe high grade fever and within 24 to 48 hours in severe cases it may cause brain damage and vomit and loose motions problems so less likely that you are child might be having this illness in which fever cold and cough is prominent and most likely it is a viral infection
