my child is eating his nails from last 1 week what to do he is 2 year 7 month old

A. Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go . In the toddlers thumb sucking or nail biting habit is also seen many a times which could be phycological cause and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable and divert in some activities also spend good time with the child . In extreme case withdrawal can be tried with some solution available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be applied locally .

A. Hello dear parent! Maintain a good personal hygiene for your child. Check with your doctor for any deficiency in your child. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is healthy and staple in your family. Serve foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating
