My child is a week old today. We are using combination of breast milk and top feed for him. I am not able to understand how much quantity of each should be given to him per feed so he is satisfied?

A. hi mother's milk is best food for a child. so please stick to breastfeeding. please don't give anything to eat or drink other than breastmilk and needed medicines till 6 months age. there is no need of formula or external milk. ensure that your child should pass urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day because a good urine output indicates that your child is getting enough milk.
