Q.

my child is 9 years old he was having fever 100.5 F and one episode of vomiting day before yesterday . Yesterday his widal test was done because he was having abdominal pain and diarrhea. His report is typhi H 1:320 typhi O 1:160 typhi AH 1:80 typhi BH 1:80 He was vaccinated against typhoid in 2019. Is he infected with typhoid and what will be it's management.

A. As typhoid vaccine need to take in every 2 year., as it seems he is typhoid positive, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
