my child is 5yrs 4m old...her coughing problem still not gone...what should i do??

Author of questionMom of a 7 yr 11 m old girl2 years agoA. actually she never getting cold..she directly suffer from coughing and that cough quality is such a sticky...if she want to spit, cough could not come out easily

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. uCough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause .
As a home remedy you can start with steam inhalafztion . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. For coldv antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please give baby ginger juice with honey twice a day and also you can give baby Luke warm water with honey for few days.
