my child is 4.5 yr old while he is fast a sleep his nose is block.. he catch cold.. while breathing d sar sur noise come.. wt to do

Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according hito the type of cough its prescribed.f if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Put a drop of nasal drops into both of the nostrils when you put your child to sleep that is going to help in opening of the nose block as you can use a pillow under the head of the child that’s also going to help it because the head is going to be in elevated position that we also you can give indirect steam is requiredWrite Your Answer Here
