my child is 4.5 month old, having cough and cold which syr shall I give.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. this can occurs due to weather changes or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal bblockage and respiratory cough. it will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. Whatever You give has to be prescribed by your doctor only because it is not safe to give any kind of medicine to the child at such a small age without consulting the doctor it could be seasonal it is better to get it assessed with your doctor ones
