Q.

my child is 3 years.. his hair growth is very light n slow.. we have done his hair shave 4 times.. but still the same.. what should be do now..

A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of atge. Cradle cafp is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position
